BB28 Double Eviction Looms, Phaedra & CT Are REAL, and Traitors Sweep Emmys

The Traitors swept the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys, picking up six awards including Alan Cumming's third consecutive win for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program. Cumming didn't even bother showing up — Johnny Bananas accepted on his behalf and jokingly refused to hand over the trophy unless he was brought back on the show. The Traitors is now up for a seventh Emmy at Monday's Primetime ceremony, hosted by Mariska Hargitay on NBC. Oh, and CT Tamburello showed up to the ceremony with a certain someone (see Story #5).

Bravo has officially cut ties with Below Deck Mediterranean bosun Nathan Gallagher after he was convicted in absentia of three domestic violence offenses against co-star and former partner Gael Cameron. Gallagher, 28, failed to appear at Sydney's Burwood Local Court on Sept. 1 and is now wanted in both Australia and Ireland. A Bravo spokesperson confirmed: 'Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.' His footage in the already-filmed Season 11 will remain as-is through the finale.

Two years of fan theories, denied showmance rumors, and coy SiriusXM interviews later — Phaedra Parks and CT Tamburello are officially a couple! The duo, who met on The Traitors Season 2, made their red carpet debut at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 5 in Los Angeles. Parks posted on Instagram the next day calling CT 'the real trophy,' and the internet promptly lost its mind. The romance that started in a Scottish castle is now apparently thriving on the red carpet.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 5 dropped all five episodes on Hulu on September 10, and yes, it's shorter than usual — by design. Filming was halted in March 2026 amid a domestic violence investigation involving Taylor Frankie Paul and ex Dakota Mortensen, the same scandal that also got Taylor's Bachelorette season scrapped by ABC days before its premiere. Whitney Leavitt's Broadway swan song also plays out this season. The good news? Season 6 is already filming, with a 20-episode order in hand.

Dancing with the Stars Season 35 kicks off with a two-night premiere event Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 8p ET on ABC and Disney+. The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 premiered September 8 on Bravo, and OG star Carole Radziwill is back as a full-time Housewife after nearly a decade away. Joining the returning cast of Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank are three newcomers: Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye. The trailer teases Radziwill being confronted over being mentioned in the Epstein files — because of course it does. New episodes air Tuesdays at 8p ET on Bravo and stream next morning on Peacock.

The Amazing Race returns for Season 39 with a two-night premiere event on September 30 and October 1 on CBS. This season ditches the celeb-heavy BB crossover format of Season 38 and goes back to civilian teams — including World Cup champion Ali Krieger and Joanna Lohman, plus a 73-year-old grandpa racing with his 19-year-old grandson. The unprecedented twist: all 13 teams begin the race with an Express Pass in hand, which must be used by leg six. Racers hit five continents, nine countries, and 25,000+ miles.

Starz confirmed Season 3 premieres December 4, 2026, with a two-episode drop, followed by weekly Friday releases for the nine-episode final run.
