The Traitors 3-Peats, DWTS Drops Someone Already, & MomTok Implodes

The Traitors on Peacock won its third consecutive Outstanding Reality Competition Program Emmy at the 2026 ceremony on Monday night, becoming the first show to pull off that feat in the category. Alan Cumming accepted the award after the show swept all seven of its nominations — a bigger haul than its five-win sweep last year. Cumming jokingly said the producers now knew what it felt like to complete a mission on the show. The timing couldn't be better: the franchise's all-civilian spinoff, The Traitors: New Blood, premieres on NBC tomorrow night.

Mikayla Matthews made the bombshell announcement on Instagram that she is leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, citing moral objections to continuing on the show while Season 6 was still being filmed in Italy. She initially kept the reason vague, but quickly followed up to confirm: Taylor Frankie Paul is returning to the cast, and Mikayla said she had already told producers she wouldn't film if Taylor came back. She's now the third original cast member to announce a departure, alongside Whitney Leavitt, who is exiting for her Broadway career.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns for Season 7 TONIGHT on Bravo at 8/7c with a supersized premiere episode. The season opens with an emotional thread: filming was temporarily halted after the death of Mary Cosby's son, Robert Jr., and the trailer shows Robert Sr. back on camera to support his wife through her grief. Meanwhile, Lisa Barlow is pursuing a music career — and apparently one of her songs ruffles some very feathered feathers. New friend Ashley Quai also joins the group, with rumors already swirling.

Bravo officially cut ties with Below Deck Mediterranean bosun Nathan Gallagher after he was convicted in absentia of three domestic violence offenses against his co-star and former partner Gael Cameron in an Australian court. Gallagher failed to appear at Sydney's Burwood Local Court on September 1, and a judge issued an arrest warrant; New South Wales Police confirmed he is believed to be overseas. A Bravo spokesperson told Rolling Stone: 'Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.' His footage will remain in the current Season 11, which was filmed before his December 2025 arrest.

The Traitors franchise expands to NBC with an all-civilian spinoff, The Traitors: New Blood, kicking off TOMORROW (Thursday, Sept. 17) with a special two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT — the day after the mothership just won its third Emmy. Alan Cumming returns as host, welcoming 22 everyday Americans to the Scottish Highlands castle to compete as Faithfuls and Traitors for a prize of up to $250,000. New episodes will air Thursdays on NBC and stream the following day on Peacock. The cast includes a pilot, a nurse, an astrophysicist, and an MLB player, among others.

RHONY Season 16, now airing Tuesdays on Bravo, brought back OG star Carole Radziwill alongside returnees Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank, plus newcomers Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye. But it's Carole's storyline generating the most buzz: the Season 16 trailer reveals she's confronted on-camera over being mentioned in the Jeffrey Epstein files, given her past social relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell. The season also sees Carole tearfully discuss her late husband, Anthony Radziwill. Bravo's new promo for the show had fans very much in their feelings.

Part 2 of the Dancing with the Stars Season 35 premiere airs TONIGHT at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with all eight female celebrities hitting the ballroom for the first time. Standouts expected to shine include Julia Stiles, Jenna Dewan, and Maura Higgins. Each woman dances to a No. 1 hit from the year she was born, and one will be eliminated tonight based on judges' scores and viewer votes. An official DWTS aftershow, hosted by Season 34 champion Robert Irwin, airs live immediately after tonight's episode.

The Great American Road Rally: Celebrity Edition makes its series premiere TONIGHT at 9 p.m. ET on The CW. Hosted by Ian Ziering, the show follows ten celebrity teams driving classic cars 2,211 miles down historic Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica during the highway's 100th anniversary year. Each celebrity team drives for a charitable cause rather than a personal prize, with city-specific challenges along the way. The series runs through a two-hour finale on November 25. Expect guest appearances from Erik Estrada, John Schneider, and more.
