Traitors Dominate the Universe & SLC Is Already Serving Tears

Peacock announced Wednesday that The Traitors has been renewed for three additional seasons, taking the Emmy-winning Alan Cumming-hosted series all the way through Season 8. The renewal came on the heels of the show's historic seven-Emmy sweep at this year's ceremony — the most wins in a single year for any competition series ever. Season 4 also broke viewership records, up 72% over Season 3. And as if that wasn't enough, NBC drops the all-civilian spinoff The Traitors: New Blood tonight with a two-hour premiere at 8/7c.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 7 debuted Wednesday night on Bravo with a premiere unlike any other in Housewives history — the cast came together to mourn the loss of Mary Cosby's son, Robert Cosby Jr., who passed away on February 23, 2026, at age 23. Instead of drama and shade, the supersized premiere titled 'Chosen Family' opened with raw grief and unity. Meanwhile, the season trailer also teases major marriage struggles for Angie Katsanevas and Whitney Rose, the latter of whom separated from husband Justin Rose after 16 years.

CBS's Survivor Season 51 premieres next Wednesday, September 23 at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour episode, kicking off what host Jeff Probst is calling 'the Open Era' — meaning any twist or advantage from the show's 26-year history can return at any time, in any order, without warning. This season features 21 brand-new castaways split into two tribes, the first time the show has launched with an odd number of players since Survivor: Fiji in 2007. Episodes stream on Paramount+ the day after airing.

RHONY Season 16 is barely a week old and Jessel Taank is already scorching the earth. In a new Page Six interview, Taank alleged that Erin Lichy's hot-mic comments calling her 'thirsty,' 'fake,' and 'like a snake' were fueled by jealousy over Taank's growing opportunities, including a Rolling Stone feature. Even more shocking: the two had bonded over lunch about the recent deaths of their fathers right before the drama erupted. Taank also suggested Lichy's new friendship with returning cast member Carole Radziwill is one of 'strategic alignment.'

Below Deck Mediterranean bosun Nathan Gallagher was convicted in absentia of horrific domestic violence offenses against co-star and baby mama Gael Cameron, and is now a fugitive wanted in both Australia and Ireland after skipping court dates in both countries. Bravo released a statement confirming it 'does not plan on working with Nathan in the future.' The conviction comes as Season 11 continues to air on Bravo with Nathan featured prominently, since the season was filmed before the December 2025 incident.

Original cast member Mikayla Matthews announced her shocking exit from Hulu's Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in a lengthy Instagram post this week, becoming the third original cast member to leave the show. She cited her refusal to platform behavior she disagreed with, seemingly referencing her co-star Taylor Frankie Paul, who has been at the center of ongoing domestic violence allegations. Matthews, who is also a credited EP on the show, said the decision was made after learning news that left her unable to continue.

Just a day after its Bravo premiere, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 7 Episode 1 is now streaming on Peacock as of this Thursday morning. The full cast — Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport, and Whitney Rose — returns alongside newcomer Ashley Quai. Per the trailer, the season will take the ladies to San Francisco for St. Patrick's Day and Hawaii, with Bronwyn's ongoing separation from Todd Bradley and several marriage shakeups at the center of this season's drama.

Peacock officially renewed Love Island USA for a ninth season, with Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix confirmed to return. Season 8 was an unprecedented smash, topping 19 billion minutes viewed and ranking as the No. 1 streaming title of Summer 2026. The renewal also includes third seasons of both Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Love Island Games, all set for 2027. Season 8 winners Bryce and Trinity's love story helped make this one of the most-watched summers in Peacock history.

Two episodes into Real Housewives of New York City Season 16, critics and fans agree: the show has found its footing again after a rocky Season 15. The returning trio of Jessel Taank, Erin Lichy, and Sai De Silva bring established tension, while new additions like Carole Radziwill and Hailey Glassman inject fresh energy. Carole's alliance with Erin has already become a talking point, with Jessel suggesting it's less about genuine friendship and more about Erin attaching herself to 'popular status.' RHONY airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
