Traitors Break Records, Jeff Lewis Is BACK, and Survivor Goes Full Chaos Mode

The Traitors: New Blood, NBC's all-civilian spinoff hosted by Alan Cumming, opened to a jaw-dropping 6 million total viewers across NBC and Peacock, making it NBC's top new unscripted premiere in six years among 18-49. On Peacock alone, it secured the platform's top two spots for next-day series viewership ever — including all Bravo and NBC titles. Over 5 million new viewers have been reached across platforms, and the show racked up more than 85 million social video views in its first week. New episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock.

It's smooth grooves and captain hats tonight as Dancing with the Stars Season 35 sails into Yacht Rock Night — live on ABC and Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET. All 13 remaining couples hit the floor after Giada De Laurentiis and Alan Bersten were eliminated in Week 2 after scoring just 12/30 with their salsa. Three front-runners — Jenna Dewan, Ezra Frech, and Amber Glenn — all tied at 21/30 last week, making tonight's elimination anyone's game. Song highlights include Amber Glenn dancing a Foxtrot to Toto's 'Hold the Line' and Harry Shum Jr. doing a Jive to Daryl Hall & John Oates.

Still Flipping Out officially premiered last night on Bravo, marking Jeff Lewis's return to the network after nearly a decade away. In a Bravo-released extended preview, Lewis was asked by a producer to say 'I'm back on Bravo, did you miss me?' — and he refused in classic Lewis fashion. The show follows Jeff balancing his SiriusXM Radio Andy show, his design empire, and a new inner circle including chief-of-staff Shane Douglas and housekeeper Aurora Chavez. Cameos from Reza Farahan, Meredith Marks, Phaedra Parks, and more are teased throughout the season.

Survivor 51 premiered September 23 on CBS with a brand-new format Jeff Probst is calling 'The Open Era' — where any twist, mechanic, or advantage from the show's 25-year history is fair game at any time. The 21-person cast was dropped on one beach together with no idea if they were starting merged or in tribes (they ended up in two). An early 'Helicopter Alliance' of five emerged immediately, while one player voluntarily exiled themselves from the group on Day 1. New episodes air Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

The Real Housewives of New York City Season 16 continues tonight on Bravo with Episode 4, and the buzz hasn't slowed since the premiere. The season features the return of Carole Radziwill alongside returning Housewives Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank, plus three new faces: Hailey Glassman, Daisy Toye (Martha Stewart's longtime makeup artist), and Erika Hammond. Critics have called the premiere 'fun, zippy, honest, funny, and dramatic,' and The New York Times named it one of the must-watch shows of the week. The Carole-Epstein files storyline is expected to intensify as the season progresses.

Fresh off a historic seven-Emmy sweep — including Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host for the third consecutive year — Peacock has renewed The Traitors for three additional seasons beyond the already-confirmed 2027 run. The series' Season 4 viewership jumped over 72% year-over-year and clocked 8.1 billion minutes viewed since its January 8 premiere. The Traitors: New Blood spinoff is currently airing on NBC Thursdays, bringing the franchise to an all-civilian audience for the first time.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 7 has been airing since September 16 on Bravo, and the drama is already extreme — the season trailer teased three marriages in crisis simultaneously. Angie Katsanevas and Shawn Trujillo's relationship faces tension over their daughter, while Whitney Rose and Justin Rose appear headed for a split, and Bronwyn Newport's new boyfriend Brandon Good is being called a 'PR move' by Lisa Barlow. Mary Cosby's emotional Season 7 arc includes grieving the unexpected death of her son Robert Cosby Jr., after which production was briefly suspended in February 2026.

In a September 21 Instagram post, Taylor Frankie Paul announced she is stepping away from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives — a bombshell exit that comes just days after the Season 5 five-episode drop on Hulu. Whitney Leavitt and Mikayla Matthews have also signaled they won't be returning for Season 6, meaning MomTok is facing its biggest cast shakeup ever. Season 5 was cut to just five episodes after filming was halted in March amid a domestic assault investigation involving Taylor and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. Season 6 is already filming despite all the chaos.

Peacock officially renewed Love Island USA for a ninth season following a record-smashing Season 8, which accumulated over 19 billion minutes viewed since its June 2 premiere and ranked as the No. 1 streaming title for summer 2026 per Nielsen. Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix is confirmed to return, alongside spinoff renewals for both Love Island: Beyond the Villa and Love Island Games for 2027. Season 8 winners Bryce and Trinity reunited with fellow Islanders at the live Season 8 reunion special at Universal Studios Hollywood.
