Kim Kardashian is executive producing alongside her younger sister — the script was sent to Kim first through her 20th Television first-look deal, and she passed it to Kylie. The project is based on an unpublished novel by Flora Collins and written by Lauren Oliver.

Andy Cohen has offered a hopeful update, suggesting the pause is not permanent — but for now, the mojitos are on ice. This marks the second time in the show's history that it has been shelved, the first being in 2013 after Season 3.
